Personal branding photo shoot for a homeopath
Registered homeopath Theresa Hughes contacted me because she wanted photos of herself for her new website and social media. To begin with, before a personal branding shoot like this, I always consult my clients on the phone, online or in person. This gives us both the chance to discuss the brand image and how best to promote it.
As a therapist, Theresa’s personal relationship with her clients is vital. Of course, she wanted the pictures to reflect her professionalism and warm personality. In addition, she wanted the shoots to be natural. So we agreed that an outdoor setting would be perfect. What’s more, we thought it would be great to include her dogs.
Firstly, we met on an autumn morning in the beautiful surroundings of Chorleywood House in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Next, we stopped at a beautiful spot overlooking the Chess Valley. Here I took a mixture of formal and reportage style images. Thanks to Theresa’s great relationship with her dogs (and lots of dog treats!), I captured some beautiful shots. My experience as a pet and portrait photographer also came in handy.
Later, we moved indoors to my studio space in Chorleywood. After coffee, we completed the session with a series of relaxed portraits, some using natural light and others with studio lighting.
Finally, thank you Theresa for your lovely review, www.yell.com
Brigitte has accomplished a miracle with the photos she took for my new website as I hate having my photo taken. But she cajoled me through the whole process and I actually really enjoyed it in the end. I think even the dogs did and she captured us so well in nature which was one of the ideas that I wanted to portray on my website. Thank you Brigitte helping me to relax and enjoy a real fun filled morning, and then producing great photos.
