The 1988 Copyright Act assigns the copyright to the Photographer. The entire copyright in the Photographs is retained by Brigitte Bott Photography at all times throughout the world.
Licence to use
The photographer grants the client permission to use the photographs for his own personal use, share with friends and family or reprint the images, but not for commercial use, please contact Brigitte if you have any questions.
Commercial, Event and Wedding Photography
Please refer to the separate contract or terms and conditions.
Any digital files shall remain the sole property of the Photographer at all times. All completed albums and products shall remain the sole property of the Photographer until full payment is received.
Display and Marketing
The Photographer reserves the right, upon obtaining the consent of the client, to use any images taken during the sessions for marketing and promotional materials in any medium, for example social media, the website or any other advertising, directly associated with Brigitte Bott Photography.
While every care is taken at every stage of the photographic process, Brigitte Bott Photography shall not be liable to the client for any failure, in whole or in part, to fulfil their obligations of a booking, where failure arises as a result of an event or circumstances beyond our control, which includes, but is not limited to; equipment failure, inclement weather, illness or injury. Brigitte Bott Photography has full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance and is a member of the Guild of Photographers.
Postponement Due To Adverse Weather
If the appointment has to be cancelled by Brigitte Bott Photography due to adverse weather conditions a new, mutually agreed appointment will be made.
A booking fee or deposit is required at the time of booking in order to secure the time, date and services of Brigitte Bott Photography. If the client cancels the appointment until 7 days prior to the reserved slot the booking fee can be refunded, however after that time the full booking fee will be retained by BBP, if no new appointment can be agreed.
Payment can be made directly via BACS transfer, by PayPal/credit card or cheque made payable to Brigitte Bott Photography.
All complaints should be raised by the Client directly to the Photographer in writing within 14 days of the occurrence which gives rise to the complaint. The Photographer will consider the complaint and shall provide a response to the Client within 14 days of receipt of that Complaint. In the unlikely event of an unresolved complaint the photographer will use the services of the Guild of Photographers as mediator to resolve the issue.
